Is CoExyst a shared house app?
Yes. CoExyst is for share houses, housemates, couples and families who run a home together. Cleaning, shopping, bills, the calendar, messages and house information live in one place, so the house does not depend on scattered chats, notes and one person's memory.
Can CoExyst help housemates manage cleaning?
Yes. Cleaning tasks and recurring routines have owners and due dates, and housemates can swap or offer a task. Everyone can see what is due and who has it. CoExyst does not enforce housework; it gives the house a clear record of what needs doing and who has taken it on.
Can CoExyst track shared bills and repayments?
Yes. Each bill records its due date, how it is split, each person's share and whether it has been repaid or confirmed. CoExyst does not make payments or connect to your bank; it keeps the record the house can check later.
Can housemates keep personal shopping or spending private?
Yes. My List and private bills stay with you. The house sees shared lists and shared bills; where a private record would appear, the house sees that something is hidden, not what it is.
What is Mya?
Mya is a private chat in Messages that prepares changes for you: shopping items, cleaning tasks, reminders, calendar events, people over and bill drafts. You check each change before it is added. Mya is in early testing and is turned on for a small group of people; it is not available in every house yet.
Does Mya send my messages to an AI model?
Not unless you choose to. In simple flows, nothing is sent to an AI model. If you turn on AI help, a request is sent only when you choose Clear a request and allow it. That request and your recent messages in the Mya chat go to Anthropic, which may process them outside Australia. Housemates and house admins cannot read your Mya chat.
Does CoExyst replace a house group chat?
It doesn't have to. Housemates can still chat wherever they like. CoExyst gives the repeat admin a proper place, so bills, cleaning, shopping and decisions are easy to find later. Bill requests and task assignments go to your Inbox, not into chat.
How does early access work?
Request early access and tell us about your household. Each request is reviewed by a person, and access opens in waves. A request does not guarantee access or a date, and no account is created until your house is invited.
Can CoExyst be installed like an app?
Yes. CoExyst is an installable web app on supported iPhone, Android and desktop browsers. The install page shows how to add it from Safari or a supported Chromium browser. CoExyst is not on the App Store or Google Play.
Is CoExyst priced per person?
No. CoExyst is priced per house. One membership covers the household.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
House Pro includes the same features and unlimited household members with either interval. Monthly renews each month; annual renews each year.
Do both billing intervals include the same features?
Yes. Monthly and annual House Pro include the same features. Features in early testing, such as Mya, are turned on for some people first.
Which plan should we choose?
Choose monthly or annual House Pro billing. Existing Pro 5 and Pro Unlimited subscriptions keep their original contracts and member limits.
When does pricing apply?
Early access is currently reviewed manually. Pricing applies once your house is active and checkout is available for your household.
Who pays for the subscription?
The membership belongs to the house billing setup. Household bills, repayments, and settlements remain separate household records.
Can we cancel?
Yes. A billing admin for the house can cancel from billing settings in CoExyst, and confirms before it takes effect. The Subscription Policy and Withdrawal Policy set out the full terms.
Are private items visible to everyone on the plan?
No. House membership does not erase privacy boundaries. Private items stay private unless the product explicitly lets the user share them.
